![]() This, openSUSE has YaST Software Management and zypper from the command I’m guessing your wanting to install applications (linux ones), for How can i run a downloaded and extracted. Archive Manager opens the exe file and does ![]() I was able to download the file, but the only program i have the can Tumbleweed on my Toshiba Laptop, and i was going to download some stuff Ninite offered the same service for both Linux and OSX at times, but is currently Windows only.I can’t execute an exe file on tumbleweed. I run this on my parents machines whenever I come over to visit to make sure everything is up to date and running smoothly and have even done a trial of their Pro version at the office so see if it was worth the cost to keep our network installations up to date. The best part about Ninite is that you can trust it will never reset your home page/default search engine or install toolbars/bloat-ware that typically comes with some software (I’m looking at you Java). If an application is already installed on your computer it will either skip the install or update it to the newest version. Simply check the box of the application you want and it will create a single package that downloads and installs the most up-to-date version. Ninite has quickly become my go-to place for installing any of the applications they support. Back in 2010 Tom wrote a post for ChurchMag about a new utility called Ninite, and though the core concept of the site has remained the same, I thought it was about time we gave an updated review. I ran across Ninite after getting tired of having to install apps like Java, Quicktime, Chrome, Flash and Adobe Reader (neither of which are available anymore as was requested by Adobe) one at a time for every system I had to rebuild.
